The 7,250 m² of ultra-modern facilities, built to RE 2020 environmental standards, are designed with performance in mind and are divided as follows:
► 815 m² of office space
► 4,750 m² of production workshops
► 1,680 m² of storage space
NB: The new premises are equipped with photovoltaic panels for self-consumption and 100% electric energy supply.
Welcoming our customers and future customers is part of our commitment to transparent, long-term relationships. These meetings can take place at various stages of our relationship:
► Upstream of your future projects
► When we submit a quote in response to one of your inquiries
► On a cyclical basis (annual, biennial), both in terms of balance sheets and prospects
STI-GENLIS’s new premises have received European funding in the form of a grant from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
This operation is part of the ERDF-ESF+ Burgundy Franche-Comté and Jura Mountains Program 2021-2027, under the following priority and specific objective:
– PR1 – Developing an innovative and competitive regional economy
Type of action: PR1-RSO1.3-TA1 – Support strategic investments by SMEs
Summary of the operation:
Construction by the real estate company SCI DBI of industrial buildings with a surface area of 7,245 m2 made available to the company STI-GENLIS
Objectives pursued (strategic scope) and results:
Thanks to this industrial building, STI-GENLIS now has additional capacity to continue to meet its customers’ needs with excellence, innovate, create new products, develop its production in new markets, and respond to the challenges of growth as it reaches a new stage in its development. The single-story building allows for better circulation of materials between the different workstations and improves working conditions, reducing handling, among other things. Lighting and air circulation in summer and winter are optimized. The building meets RE2020 standards (energy efficiency and decarbonization objectives, reduction of carbon impact, and guaranteed comfort in hot weather) and was designed with high CSR requirements in mind.
Sustainable development:
The construction of STI-GENLIS’s new premises promotes alternative modes of transport: the deliberate choice of location in the town of Genlis allows STI GENLIS staff to walk, cycle, or take the train to work. The new premises take climate change issues into account (reduction in travel within the new premises, therefore less forklift truck use, elimination of fossil fuels for heating, replaced by a heat pump, production of energy from renewable sources with the installation of 786 photovoltaic panels on the roof to produce electricity for self-consumption). Short supply chains have been favored: LOCAL construction materials, a STRONG and DELIBERATE choice to have photovoltaic cells manufactured in Europe. Heating gas has been eliminated, and the building’s insulation, which complies with RE2020 standards, reduces energy consumption (heating/air conditioning). Water consumption is reduced by reusing rainwater in the toilets.
